Why they're everywhere right now. Perfectly matched, symmetrical jewelry is starting to feel a little corporate. Baroque pearls read as one-of-one, like the piece was made once and won't be made the same way again, because it can't be. No two baroque pearls are shaped alike, which means no two pieces are either.
They're more wearable than you'd think. The irregular shape actually makes baroque pearls easier to dress down than classic round pearls. A baroque pearl necklace doesn't scream "formal event," it just looks like jewelry, so it works with a t-shirt as easily as it works with something dressier.
